TenacIT defines small businesses as those with fewer than 10 employees and less than $1MM in annual revenue, but we also accept the certified SBA businesses such as:
TenacIT knows that there is a formal, governmental definition for a “Small Business” that varies by industry. Company revenues can range from $1 million to over $40 million and employee count from 100 to over 1,500 employees, but TenacIT’s definition is a little bit smaller than that. At TenacIT “small” is a business with fewer than 10 employees and less than $1MM in annual revenue. Home town bakeries, private gyms, neighborhood book stores…you know small. Businesses that are clearly and obviously small. Businesses that you drive past and wonder how they compete with “the big boys.”
That is our ideal client and the primary focus of our business. Yes we work with larger companies than that, but usually on specialized projects. “Small” businesses are the ones who don’t have an IT department. They have a kid brother who is good with computers. They don’t have application developers scattered around the globe. They figure out how to make things work all on there own (arguably to varying levels of success).
At TenacIT, we want to help those “small” businesses grow to THEIR potential. Help doesn’t mean that they need a $10,000 ERP system. Help means they have a technology resource that they can call when they have questions. Help means a business doesn’t have to suffer with the decision “do I call knowing that they are going to charge me an arm and a leg or do I just try and figure it out myself”. Help means fixing the problem the right way, not just band-aiding the problem knowing it will come up again.
