Who do we lean on when we need help? These companies.

We learned a long time ago that, even though we want to, we can’t do everything.  We are not oceanic treasure hunters.  We don’t build hot air balloons.  We don’t give bubble baths to baby monkeys.

What we do, we do well.  We have trusted business partners and suppliers for everything else.

TenacIT Partners

We are committed to enhancing customer value through integrations with our technology alliance partners.

OK…if you don’t know who Google is…call us.  You need massive amounts of help getting out from underneath that rock.  What you may not know is how TenacIT uses Google to benefit it’s customers.  For those who are not “Team Microsoft” there are a few alternatives.  Yes paper and pen is an option, but a better alternative for those startups who are strapped for cash may be Google Workspace.  The little known business product can get you up and running for as little as $6/month/user.  Not a TenacIT go to, but also not a bad product for those who need to get started, and don’t need a full blown Azure domain.

Its enterprise software hypervisor for servers, VMware ESXi, is a bare-metal hypervisor that runs directly on server hardware without requiring an additional underlying operating system. Verizon is an American wireless network operator. The mobile network previously operated as a separate division of Verizon Communications under the name of Verizon Wireless. In a 2019 reorganization, Verizon moved the wireless products and services into two new divisions, Verizon Consumer and Verizon Business, and stopped using the Verizon Wireless name. Verizon is the largest wireless carrier in the United States, with 121.3 million subscribers as of the end of Q2 2021.

The company is headquartered in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. It was founded in 2000 as a joint venture of American telecommunications firm Bell Atlantic, which would soon become Verizon Communications, and British multinational telecommunications company Vodafone.

It currently operates a national 4G LTE network covering about 99 percent of the U.S. population, which in the second half of 2020 won or tied for top honors in each category of the RootMetrics RootScore Reports. Verizon Wireless offers mobile phone services through a variety of devices. Its LTE in Rural America Program, with 21 rural wireless carriers participating, covers 2.7 million potential users in 169 rural counties. Verizon Wireless announced in 2015 that it was developing a 5G, or fifth-generation, network and is currently working on finalizing a complete US rollout of that network.

TenacIT almost exclusively uses Verizon for it’s employees and instrumentation and recommends them to many of it’s clients. This is not a dig on AT&T as we occasionally require their assistance, but based on our travels across the US, have found them to be the better and more reliable carrier.  UNLESS you are in lower Louisiana or Alaska.  There it is only AT&T.  (at least for now)

Tableau Software is an American interactive data visualization software company focused on business intelligence. It was founded in 2003 in Mountain View, California, and is currently headquartered in Seattle, Washington.  Tableau products query relational databases, online analytical processing cubes, cloud databases, and spreadsheets to generate graph-type data visualizations. The software can also extract, store, and retrieve data from an in-memory data engine. Tableau has a mapping functionality, and is able to plot latitude and longitude coordinates and connect to spatial files like Esri Shapefiles, KML, and GeoJSON to display custom geography. The built-in geo-coding allows for administrative places (country, state/province, county/district), postal codes, US Congressional Districts, US CBSA/MSA, Area Codes, Airports, and European Union statistical areas (NUTS codes) to be mapped automatically. Geographies can be grouped to create custom territories or custom geocoding used to extend existing geographic roles in the product.

All that said, they are one of the best report/dashboard building and data analytic tools available on the market. It really is a toss up for us between Tableau and Microsoft’s PowerBI.  At the end of the day it really comes down to our clients.  We are happy with either solution.

Splunk is an American technology company based in San Francisco, California, that produces software for searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine-generated data via a Web-style interface.

Its software helps capture, index and correlate real-time data in a searchable repository, from which it can generate graphs, reports, alerts, dashboards and visualizations. At TenacIT there is no better security information and event management (SIEM) solution on the market.  Yes, there are competitors like Sophos and Logpoint, but in our opinion, nothing matches Splunk’s ease of use or performance which is key when you are talking about collecting thousands of data points per second and alerting in real-time.

Founded in 1994, Data Foundry was one of the first 50 ISPs in the United States. Their background is in networking and IT infrastructure, not buying and selling real estate as it is with REIT data center companies. They understand their customers’ IT infrastructure and the requirements for growth, scalability and evolution. Data Foundry’s ownership and key executives have changed very little, but the company has grown and evolved significantly.

Data Foundry employs a tenured and knowledgeable workforce. They maintain their own onsite electricians, network engineers, security staff, data center technicians and NOC technicians and do not hire third-party contractors. Data Foundry understands the need for responsive, expert, always available, hands-on support and they keep staff on site 24x7x365. From cross connects to complex power management, they understand every aspect of a data centers operations and their people are focused on supporting their clients’ every data center need.

Experience has taught them that the most reliable data centers are ones that can be controlled from the roof to the conduits below the foundation and they maintain their own in-house construction team for building data centers in strategically chosen locations. They build the most redundant, connected, and secure data centers with the best disaster recovery solutions available in Texas.

Best of all, they are a carrier-neutral network marketplace with choice and competition to ensure you have access to competitive prices and higher reliability.

At TenacIT, we have helped customers across the US, in data centers across the US.  Nothing matches the amenities that Data Foundry has to offer and given our choice of data centers anywhere in the US, we would choose Data Foundry hands down.  Just as a note…we do not have any skin in making that choice.  We do not operate inside of a data center ourselves and do not make any commission or get any benefit from our preference towards Data Foundry.  In fact, don’t take our word for it, go look for yourself.  They give free tours to perspective tenants.
